This is a feature in a science magazine about instant gratification and how society expects this in every aspect of life. The fast-forward symbol can be seen throughout the feature—to represent the speed of instant gratification, everyone is moving so fast in this world. I enjoy creating collages in my free time and jumped at the chance to include a collage-inspired design with the photos included. I wanted the imagery to look somewhat chaotic, lots of information at once, and sometimes overwhelming to digest together at fast speeds.
The last spread is a column that ran in the same magazine. It focuses on a specific controversary in every issue. This one was about drinking alcohol. This was a college assignment—all imagery was found on Google.
