I designed a book about the Stonewall Riots. Gay Rights means a lot to me and I wanted to illustrate the hardships that the LGBTQ community had to face during this time period. I chose the color red as my main accent as a representation to bloodshed, anger & passion. The images are intentionally cut out rough and overlaid onto their original pictures as a nod to a somewhat dysfunctional and unorganized—but overall immensely successful—movement. This was a college assignment—all imagery was found on Google.
