I was commissioned to develop a brand identity for a new salon called Salon Posh. To begin, the salon owner needed a logo for the store awning. She wanted the brand to look high-end and elevated, but with some personality. I chose to mix a strong serif font with a playful script that mimics the movement of hair—organic and flowing. The splash of color added to the logomark behind the salon name added the lively personality to the logo without overbearing the entire look. I provided variations to fulfill the needs for multiple instances.
